Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience in a hotel or food & beverage environment preferred
Must meet the minimum legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
Alcohol awareness certification and/or food handler’s permit as required by local/state laws
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (entire shift if necessary)
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Greet all guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive, and responsive service
Describe menu items clearly, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pricing
Take guest food and beverage orders accurately and input them into the POS system
Deliver orders promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature
Accommodate special requests whenever possible
Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience and boost sales
Perform pre- and post-shift duties such as stocking service areas, brewing coffee, etc.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas
Pre-bus tables throughout service, removing used dishes between courses
Ensure beverage glasses remain filled; monitor guest satisfaction proactively
Follow proper procedures for handling and delivering guest payments
Maintain awareness of loss prevention, safety, and sanitation standards
Assist with greeting and seating guests, answering phones, and supporting other team members as needed
Adhere to all company policies, uniform, grooming, and safety standards
Attend training sessions and team meetings as required
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Familiar with restaurant layout, job roles, and POS systems
Understand and comply with all alcohol service, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
Knowledgeable of emergency procedures and fire safety equipment
Follow all hotel and departmental procedures to ensure smooth and safe operations
