FSQA Manager – Food Manufacturing (Greater NYC Area)

We’re looking for a hands-on FSQA Manager to lead food safety and quality assurance at a manufacturing facility in the Greater New York City area. This is a plant-based role with full responsibility for the site’s food safety programs, audits, and team leadership.
What You’ll Do
Lead all FSQA programs in compliance with FDA and ISO standards
Oversee HACCP documentation, updates, and execution
Conduct internal audits and manage external inspection readiness
Train, mentor, and develop a team of QA technicians
Use tools like micrometers and CMMs to verify product conformance
Analyze QA data to drive corrective actions and improvements
Collaborate with production and leadership teams to uphold product quality
What You Bring
4+ years of food QA experience with leadership responsibility
Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED
HACCP and SQF Certified REQUIRED
Skilled in measuring tools (micrometers, CMM); Calypso software a plus
Strong communication, training, and audit prep skills
Comfortable with hands-on quality and documentation work on the plant floor
Schedule & Pay
Full-time, on-site role (Monday to Friday with occasional weekend support)
Pay range: $90,000 – $120,000 depending on experience
Must reside LOCALLY - no relocation assistance available
