Appliance Repair Technician

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Appliance Repair Technician to join a growing service team in Madison WI. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and helping customers restore functionality to their homes. You’ll work independently in the field while being supported by a team that values training, work-life balance, and a positive culture, no nights or weekends required.

Employment Type: Full time-$20-$25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential appliances and related equipment
• Provide accurate repair estimates and clearly explain service needs to customers
• Deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services with a strong customer-service mindset
• Order parts and manage company materials efficiently
• Collect payment for completed work
• Communicate professionally with customers to ensure understanding and satisfaction
• Work independently while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or in a similar role
• Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in the field
• EPA Certification and sealed system experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Location & Compensation:

• Madison, WI
• Minimum $20/hour , with strong earning potential—top performers can earn well over $60/hour based on experience, productivity, and performance
