Welder
SmartTalent is seeking to hire Welders for a manufacturing company based in Monroe, WA. Ideal candidates will have previous welding light gauge sheet metal. Certifications not required.
Location: Monroe, WA
Pay: $22 - $26 DOE
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday 5am - 330pm

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Set up welding equipment for MIG and TIG welding processes, including selecting appropriate settings and adjusting parameters based on material type and thickness.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures to accurately weld components to specifications.
• Weld Mild Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel gauge and plate materials according to established processes and quality standards.
• Ensure proper fit-up and alignment of parts prior to welding.
• Inspect welds for defects, such as cracks, voids, and distortion, and make necessary adjustments to welding techniques and parameters.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot welding issues and optimize production processes.
• Participate in training programs to learn and qualify for welding various products and processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Familiarity with welding codes and standards.
• Basic knowledge of metallurgy and material properties.
• Experience with other welding processes, such as stick or flux-cored arc welding.
• Prior training or certification in welding-related courses or programs a plus but not required
