Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for order processing, shipping and receiving, and inventory control of finished product and will manage the movement of goods into and out of a company. They ensure orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time.

• Oversees and manages material handlers.
• Maintains and promotes safe working environment.
• Schedule and assign carrier for shipment and verifies those shipments daily.
• Prepare shipments for shipping, including packaging, and labeling.
• Track shipments and update customers on delivery status.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and other departments.
• Process paperwork, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
• Manages finished goods ensuring stock rotation.
• Manages and ensure shipments meet quality and accuracy standards.
• Determine the most efficient shipping methods and routes.
• Prepare shipping quotes for customers.

Requirements

• College degree or HS diploma.
• 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience.
• Shipping, receiving and inventory control experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
