AB Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced and confident Village Health RN for a unique travel contract serving remote Alaska villages surrounding Barrow (Utqiaġvik).

As a Village Health RN, you will provide essential primary care, triage, urgent care services, and preventive health support to small Inupiat communities — often traveling via small plane or helicopter to reach village clinics.

Job Duties:

• Travel to remote villages to provide primary and urgent care.
• Perform assessments, wound care, immunizations, and triage.
• Work independently or with small teams in limited-resource settings.
• Coordinate medevac or higher-level care when needed.
• Document encounters and support community health initiatives.

Requirements:

• Active RN license.
• 2+ years ER, urgent care, primary care, or rural health experience strongly preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS preferred.
• Ability to practice independently with physician backup via phone/radio.
• Comfortable traveling on small aircraft and working in remote settings.
• Strong adaptability, cultural awareness, and clinical judgment.
