TELECOMMUNICATIONS TOWER TECHNICIAN

This is a remote position at project locations.

The offices are located in Watertown, SD, and Winter Park, FL.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday 7:00 AM EST – 4:00 PM EST, with 1 hour lunch break
• Varying amounts of overtime and weekend work may be required, based on job location.

Job Summary:

Tower Systems is actively hiring experienced Tower Technicians who will perform all aspects of new construction, dismantles, upgrades, co-locations, inspections, microwave, mapping, civils, and foundations. They will perform maintenance on all types of existing towers from 60’ to 1500’.

Qualifications:

• Must be of good moral character, dependable, and honest.
• Understands and adheres to best industry standards.
• Proficient use of PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone, printer, camera
• Comprehends construction drawings, assembly drawings, RF data sheets, etc.
• Proficient in general industry knowledge, including rigging, knot tying, and signaling.
• Must exhibit good physical stamina to climb towers with the ability to lift, pull, and push 80 lbs.
• Must be able to crouch, kneel, twist, and climb with both hands.
• Trade certifications are a plus!
• Willingness to travel extensively away from the home market, nationally and internationally.
• Clean driving record.
