As part of the State and Local Indirect Tax team you are expected to lead the way as technology-enabled tax advisors who provide significance through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Senior Associate you are to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards. You are to focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, learning how to manage and inspire others while navigating increasingly complex situations.

What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of experience
- Job seekers need to demonstrate that the minimum requirements are met for CPA licensure per respective state regulations.
What Sets You Apart
- Having prior excise tax experience preferred
- Experience working with industries potentially subject to excise tax preferred
- Understanding of indirect tax compliance procedures
- Experience interacting with state and federal regulatory agencies
- Experience as a tax technical professional
- Experience identifying and addressing client needs
- Understanding of the broad range of services offered by an international firm
- Experience working with large data sets
- Knowledge of tax specific software such as Avalara, Vertex, or OneSource
- Familiarity with research software such as CCH, Westlaw, Factiva, BNA, etc.
- CPA or commitment to pass CPA exam before being promoted to Manager and thereafter obtain CPA or Active Member of the Bar.
