Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Stainless Pipe Welder to join a growing fabrication team in Tulsa, OK . The Stainless Pipe Welder will be responsible for fitting, welding, and assembling stainless steel piping systems according to engineering drawings and specifications. This position requires advanced skill in TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Fit, weld, and assemble stainless steel piping systems following blueprints and job specifications.
• Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel in multiple positions with precision and accuracy.
• Complete a 6G 2” Schedule 40 butt joint TIG all-out weld test to demonstrate required proficiency.
• Inspect joints and completed welds to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards .
• Maintain clean welds and smooth finishes free of contamination or defects.
• Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment safely.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other welders to meet production goals and deadlines .
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures , ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
• Must pass a 6G 2” Schedule 40 butt joint TIG weld test (all-out).
• Minimum 3 years of experience welding stainless pipe in a fabrication or industrial environment.
• Advanced knowledge of TIG (GTAW) welding techniques and procedures .
• Ability to read blueprints, P&ID drawings, and welding symbols .
• Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and quality workmanship .
• Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and adherence to safety practices .
