Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Transport materials from storage or staging areas to workspaces using material handling equipment (manual and motorized pallet jacks/walkies).
  • Package final products into end-user containers following approved Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Set up, operate, and clean production equipment, including weighing scales, hand-filling equipment, Integrated Fill Lines (IFL), and Bagging equipment (SpeeDee & All-Fills). Monitor critical process parameters (e.g., temperature, humidity, RPMs).
  • Ensure final product weight meets specified tolerances per IMW A163 standards.
  • Utilize independent judgment to plan, troubleshoot, and problem-solve during equipment setup and operation.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of three years in a manufacturing, packaging, and/or warehouse environment.
  • Experience operating filling equipment and cleaning machinery is essential.
  • Forklift experience is highly desirable.

Skills & Certifications

  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining production equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to follow Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Physical stamina for repetitive heavy lifting and prolonged standing/walking.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols, including the use of respirators, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes.

Eligibilities & qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Capable of heavy lifting (1-35 lbs.) for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for 50%-95% of the workday.
  • Must pass a physical exam for forklift operations and respirator fit tests.
  • Comfortable working in a dusty environment requiring the use of N95 respirators and other safety equipment.
