Marketing Messaging Manager

Reports to:  Marketing Director, Florida

Department: Marketing

Location: Tallahassee or Tampa, FL preferred, Florida required

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Description:

Our growing company is seeking a Marketing Messaging Manager to join our Trulieve Florida marketing team. This position will plan out the daily message campaign and cadence in accordance to the Florida Calendar.

Responsibilities:

• Build daily, weekly and monthly communication plans based on promo & launch calendar
• Brief, review and approve creative according to the plan
• Collaborate with Marketing Specialists and other cross-functional partners to build in appropriate communication support
• Collaborate with digital team on performance of key messages, channels and tactics
• Develop segmentation tactics that inform the daily communications based on personalized content and customer preference.
• Share regular guidance and directive to retail and cross-functional teams
• Plan, develop, execute and optimize retention focused campaigns
• In partnership with creative team, support localized content and communication initiatives
• Plan marketing communication plans with the appropriate and balanced marketing mix
• Collaborates with leadership, marketing team, production, retail and compliance
• Comply with all security policies/procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years of experience in a marketing and/or communications
• Working knowledge of Smartsheet
• Proficient use in Powerpoint

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize while working on multiple projects
• Exceptional writing abilities regardless of the subject-matter
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with co-workers and upper management as needed

• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and creative team-player
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment under intense deadlines

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
