We are looking for a skilled Backend/Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and collaborate on an innovative video analysis platform. You will work closely with an iOS/UX Engineer to build a seamless, end-to-end system that processes, analyzes, and delivers insights from video content. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about video technology, backend systems, and applied machine learning.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend systems to support video uploading, processing, and analysis.
Build and deploy machine learning algorithms for video understanding, including object detection, segmentation, activity recognition, or other relevant tasks.
Implement scalable APIs and backend services to integrate ML models with the iOS application.
Optimize ML pipelines for performance, accuracy, and real-time or near-real-time processing.
Collaborate closely with the iOS/UX Engineer to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
Participate in system architecture decisions and contribute to best practices in data handling, model deployment, and infrastructure.
Troubleshoot issues, test system components, and ensure reliability and security of backend services.
Strong experience with machine learning , computer vision, or video analysis models.
Proficiency in backend development using languages and frameworks such as Python, Node.js, FastAPI, Django, or similar .
Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV ).
Knowledge of building and deploying APIs and microservices.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and video processing pipelines.
Understanding of data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment workflows.
Experience with real-time or streaming video analysis.
Familiarity with GPU optimization or distributed model serving.
Knowledge of mobile-to-backend communication patterns (REST, WebSockets, GraphQL).
Prior involvement in cross-functional development with mobile or UX teams.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work closely with designers and mobile engineers.
Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to innovation.
