Job Description
As a Logistics Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the end-to-end logistics operations for Industrial Automation in Socorro, TX.
You will be responsible for coordinating transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure efficient supply chain operations and give Honeywell a competitive edge in the market. With your expertise in logistics management and strong analytical skills, you will develop strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
You will report directly to our Plant Manager and you'll work out of our Socorro, TX location on a onsite work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and profitability of the business by streamlining logistics operations, managing inventory effectively.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Develop and execute logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
+ Optimize shipping operations to meet delivery timelines.
+ Collaborate with Honeywell manufacturing sites and with Project management teams at customer sites to establish strong partnerships and streamline shipping operations.
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
+ Run key performance indicator reports & metric reports on a daily basis.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ 5+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably in a fast-paced warehousing or distribution environment.
+ Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management principles.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools (Oracle, WMS or other ERP systems)
+ Effective communication and leadership abilities.
+ Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
