We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records.
Support budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and insights.
Utilize accounting software such as Xero, Quicken, and PeopleSoft for efficient financial management.
Collaborate with senior accountants to analyze corporate finance activities and provide recommendations for improvement.
Participate in mentoring programs to enhance personal development and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Maintain organized financial documentation and assist in audits as required.

Experience

A foundational understanding of financial concepts and principles is essential.
Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Quicken, or PeopleSoft is preferred.
Experience or coursework in financial accounting, budgeting, balance sheet reconciliation, and corporate finance is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account analysis.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are necessary for effective teamwork.

Salary

$45000 - $47000
