MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF RECENT INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced inventory control specialist to fill an opening at a faucet manufacturing company in Huntington Beach, CA.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 2:15 pm- 11:15pm

Requirements for Inventory Control Specialist

1 year of recent inventory control experience
Must have steel-toe boots
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Must pass a background check, drug screen, and E-Verify
Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts into ERP Systems.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to read, count accurately, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities of the Inventory Control Specialist:

Assisting warehouse staff to locate missing inventory required for parts replenishments.
Performing inventory cycle counts: researching and root causing discrepancies, making physical and system corrections to inventory, assisting Purchasing Department in counting and correcting shortage report components.
Maintaining accuracy of production supplies such as labels, stickers, and hardware.
Performing various inventory corrections resulting from vendor receipts, inventory moves, etc.
Ensuring incoming material is received and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
Identifying, recommending, and implementing improvement processes and systems to reduce errors and improve inventory accuracy.
Performing additional assignments per management direction
