Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced and reliable flooring installers- individuals or established crews -to install various types of flooring in commercial environments. Installers must have the skills, tools, and transportation necessary to complete high-quality installations efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate or crew is detail-oriented, punctual, and committed to delivering professional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install flooring materials including but not limited to:
  • Carpet (broadloom and tile)
  • Vinyl (VCT, LVT, sheet vinyl)
  • Sports
  • Laminate and rubber flooring
  • Ceramic, porcelain, and other tile
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and specifications
• Perform floor prep work including leveling, patching, grinding, and moisture mitigation
• Operate floor installation tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, and team members
• Complete work according to project timelines and quality standards
• Comply with all company safety protocols and job site requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in flooring installation (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Crews must have reliable transportation and own tools/equipment
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Must pass background check or meet site-specific clearance requirements (if applicable)

Preferred:

• Experience with commercial flooring and large-scale projects
• Certified in floor leveling or moisture mitigation (e.g., Ardex, Schonox)
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification
• Knowledge of floor covering standards (e.g., CFI, INSTALL)
