Do you thrive on coordinating people, materials, and processes to deliver flawless product on time? In this role, you’ll steer multi-shift operations that include cutting, forming, stamping, welding, and assembly—while keeping materials stocked and finished goods flowing into inventory.

You’ll own

• Setting daily priorities and directing a team to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Real-time floor management—tracking progress, clearing roadblocks, and reporting results to management.
• Accurate entry of employee paperwork (labor, scrap, SPC) in the labor reporting system each shift.
• Material replenishment for work centers and timely movement of finished product to inventory.
• Adherence to company standards, policies, and initiatives across all shifts.
• Analyzing operating practices, documentation, and controls to build and sustain SOPs.
• Applying Lean tools to improve throughput, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement.
• Prompt cross-functional support for partner departments.

Must-haves

• High school diploma.
• Supervisory experience or 2–5 years of equivalent leadership exposure.
• 2–3 years leading production/assembly teams and maintaining quality in a manufacturing environment.
• 2–3 years in stamping manufacturing.
• Experience collaborating with other departments and driving continuous improvement.

Skill set that stands out

• Hands-on leadership, goal setting, and problem resolution—lead by example.
• Workflow planning and accountability management to organize daily work effectively.
• MS Office proficiency and ERP literacy (Epicor experience preferred).
• Clear shift reporting and communication across functions.
• Quality focus: enforce organizational standards consistently.
• Training with material handling equipment and a strong work ethic.

Physical aspects of the role (during floor coverage)

• Lift up to 40 lbs.
• Frequent bending/stooping as needed.
• Extended walking throughout the shift; stand/walk 8+ hours.
• Use of step stools/small ladders.
