Job Description

Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of IT to oversee and enhance our client's technology operations on the South Shore in Massachusetts. This role requires a strategic leader who will drive advancements in IT infrastructure, e-commerce platforms, and data-driven decision-making while ensuring operational efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing enterprise systems and integrating technology solutions to support business growth. All candidates need to have in-depth experience within NetSuite and a strong e-commerce background. Responsibilities: - Oversee the configuration, optimization, and integration of NetSuite systems to ensure data integrity and seamless workflows. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, and Operations, to enhance processes and improve visibility. - Manage and optimize Magento-based e-commerce platforms, ensuring high performance, security, and user engagement. - Lead the development and implementation of a long-term technology roadmap aligned with organizational objectives. - Supervise internal IT staff and external vendors to deliver reliable and scalable technology solutions. - Drive innovation in warehouse operations, leveraging automation and real-time data integration to improve efficiency. - Establish and maintain cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with data governance standards. - Build and expand business intelligence capabilities, creating dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights. - Support marketing initiatives by implementing technology-enabled tools for campaign execution and performance tracking. - Ensure robust backup, recovery, and continuity systems across all IT operations. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in IT or technology roles within e-commerce or distribution environments. - Proven expertise in implementing and managing NetSuite systems. - Strong knowledge of Magento e-commerce platforms and their integrations. - Familiarity with business intelligence tools and technologies to support data-driven decision-making. - Comprehensive understanding of data architecture, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructure. - Demonstrated ability to manage IT teams and vendor relationships effectively. - Experience optimizing warehouse operations through technology-driven solutions.
