Job Description

Our client, a lifestyle apparel brand based in NYV, is looking for a Copywriter to join their team for a remote 4+ month contract opportunity. The Copywriter is responsible for creating on-brand copy for the E-Commerce, Digital, and Social Media spaces. This job requires 2-3 days onsite in NYC office.

Responsibilities:  

• Uphold the brand's voice across to develop and deliver global and digital marketing copy as needed.

• Review copy using checklist and format copy according to department style guide.

• Elevate the brand and provide daily creative insight to help push the product and promote the brand.

• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all copy and retrieve any missing information.

• Work closely with the graphics department and content creation team to make fresh, on-trend, innovative material on a daily basis.

• Partner with lead copywriter to support large projects and ongoing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field.

• 2-5+ years of experience as a copywriter within a corporate retail, apparel and fashion role.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, adapt with quickly-changing priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and aren’t intimidated by project management and product information tools!
