Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team in the Americas region. This role is essential in driving financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating financial plans and budgets for the Americas region, collaborating closely with operational teams to set realistic goals and manage budgets effectively.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses, evaluate past results, predict performance, and identify trends to provide actionable insights for leadership.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards to inform management about key financial metrics and overall business performance in the Americas region. Ensure relevant, timely reporting to Operations, Controlling, and leadership. Assist in preparing consolidated reports for the Americas President and internal/external reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Monitor compliance with cost policies and help implement and improve cost control processes.
• Manage communication with auditors during financial and operational audits.

Essential Skills

• Bachelors Degree related to Finance or Accounting
• 5-7 years of applicable experience in the accounting capacity, ideally in a similar Controller or Leadership role
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, ideally in Food & Beverage.

Work Environment

This is a 100% onsite position located in Hoffman Estates. The role requires direct reporting to the President in the Americas, with a dotted line to the corporate office in Germany. There might be occasional travel or work out of the Huntley location once established by Q4 of 2026. The work environment is fast-paced, creative, and hands-on, involving bench lab work, customer interaction, product development, and sensory testing. The culture is close-knit, warm, and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and support.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
