We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead a hospital construction project in Napa, CA. This role requires a strong background in vertical construction and HVAC systems, with the ability to manage all aspects of a complex healthcare facility build. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery while meeting the highest safety and quality standards.
Project Planning & Coordination
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resources.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project milestones.
On-Site Management
Oversee daily construction activities and site operations for the hospital project.
Supervise subcontractors and site personnel, resolving issues promptly to avoid delays.
Technical Oversight
Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Ensure HVAC systems are designed, installed, and commissioned to meet healthcare facility requirements.
Cost & Quality Control
Track project costs, manage change orders, and prepare detailed progress reports.
Conduct inspections to maintain high-quality standards throughout all phases.
Compliance & Safety
Maintain strict compliance with hospital construction codes, healthcare regulations, and OSHA safety requirements.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
5–10 years in construction management, with substantial experience in vertical construction.
Proven track record managing vertical projects. Medical or public works preferred.
Hands-on involvement with HVAC systems in large-scale facilities.
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
Ability to interpret complex construction documents.
Certifications (Preferred):
PMP, LEED Accreditation, OSHA Safety Certification.
