Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Full-time ho hours per week
• IRS rate for mileage- WE PAY 62.5 CENTS PER MILE

Applicant must have own transportation. Will be required to travel to Cabell, Wayne, Mason, or Lincoln County in WV or Lawrence County Ohio.

Duties:

• Performs and/or assists the patient with personal care activities as prescribed on the Home Health Aide plan of care.
• Performs and/or assists the patient/family with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Reports patient status changes to the interdisciplinary team as needed.
• Maintains current and accurate documentation.
• Complies with policies and procedures of Hospice of Huntington, Inc.
• Protects the confidentiality of private health care information of patients.
• Represents the services and philosophy of Hospice of Huntington, Inc.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate is preferred.
• Proof of nursing assistant certification.
• Minimum of 1-year experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Philosophy is compatible with the hospice concept.
