Behavior Specialist

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.

The following qualifications are required:

• Experience with the theory and application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - or on track to become certified.
• Experience in the field of Mental Health or Education.

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Dedicating a minimum of two hours per week of direct or indirect supervision/observation per client. This time includes observations across settings, updating Behavior Support Plans, engaging in data analysis, attending team meetings and providing direct supervision to Behavior Instructors.
• Designing, implementing, and revising individual Behavior Support Plans and conducting ongoing functioning behavioral assessments through collaboration with the Director, Behavior Instructor, and school-based team members.
• Using ABA in the design, creation, and implementation of interventions for both students and staff.
• Applying principles of behavior analysis in day-to-day work with students through modeling, assessment, sessions, and consultation.
• Providing crisis support as needed.
• Supervising and coaching Behavior Instructors to ensure that behavior plans and interventions are being implemented with fidelity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000 - $80,000 per year- based on years of experience and credentialing
